Araz Construction Group builds sustainable energy infrastructure alongside commercial, civil, and multifamily projects across Southern California, from the ground up.

Araz Construction Group was built around a straightforward observation: the parts of a project that go wrong are usually the parts that get handed off.

Site work goes to one contractor. Foundations to another. Structural to a third. Energy systems arrive last, designed by someone who never saw the site. Each handoff is a seam, and seams are where schedules slip and budgets move.

We built this company to close those seams. Civil, concrete, foundations, structure, and energy infrastructure are divisions here, staffed, equipped, and accountable to the same schedule. When something changes in the field, one company absorbs it.

How we work

Understand the ground first

Soil, drainage, access, and utilities decide more about a budget than finishes do. We resolve them before design commits.

Price from conditions

A budget built on an allowance is a number waiting to move. Once the site is resolved we price what's actually there, so the number holds because it was never a guess.

Own the critical path

The scopes that decide a schedule stay in house: earthwork, foundations, structure. Controlling them is the difference between managing a project and merely reporting on it.

Build the systems in

Energy infrastructure engineered alongside the structure performs better and costs less than the same system fitted into a building that didn't anticipate it. We build toward where the standards are heading, not where they've been.

Measure the work

Curing, settlement, drainage, energy performance. Instrumented work produces data, and data replaces the assumption that something went the way it was supposed to.

Say the difficult thing early

A site that won't support the program, a budget that doesn't match the drawings, a schedule that assumes an approval nobody has. These are cheap problems early and expensive ones late. We raise them while they're still cheap.

Low carbon is an engineering outcome, not a marketing position.

Safety

Planning the work includes planning how it's done without hurting anyone. Sequencing, protection, and housekeeping are part of the schedule, and anyone on site can stop work that doesn't look right without being asked to justify it later.

Quality

Quality is decided when the work is set up, not when it's inspected. We build to what the drawings intend, flag what won't hold up while it can still be corrected, and don't cover work we wouldn't stand behind.

Communication

The update you get is the one we'd want as an owner: what changed, what it touches, and what we're doing about it, delivered while there's still time to decide instead of after the fact.
